Our goal is to give athletes of all ages the opportunity to improve speed, strength and agility through a combination of our unique sports training and science. We offer innovative exercise programs that emphasize all aspects of movement from muscle strength to neuromuscular coordination and muscular recruitment.
We design & customize your fitness program to address your individual needs based on your age, athletic abilities and overall fitness goals.
Group classes generally have 4 to 6 participants under the coaching of a personal trainer. These small groups most times have a specific activities in mind, as opposed to general fitness. However, during workouts, the attention of the trainer will be divided between all participants of the class.
You may wonder why an employer would care about the amount of physical activity that an employee gets? The reasons are simple, logical and well supported by research. Physically active employees are less likely to be overweight, have fewer chronic health conditions, have lower levels of stress, miss fewer days of work and are more productive than their sedentary co-workers. By helping employees become more physically active a corporation can lower health care costs, decrease sick days and increase productivity.
When someone talks about the core, they're referring the muscles deep within the abs and back, attaching to the spine or pelvis. These muscles are where movement originates and it's also the source of our stability. Whether you're running, lifting weights or picking up your toddler, these 'core' muscles help keep your body stable and balanced.
Muscle tone is an unconscious low level contraction of your muscles while they are at rest. You know how your muscles feel much firmer when you intentionally tense them? And how you feel a decrease in firmness the less you tense (i.e. contract) them? Well, that small remaining amount of firmness that you feel in your muscles when they are completely relaxed, with no intentional tensing, is your muscle tone.
